So what games do you like playing? I mean outside of the vast number of 3rd parties the PS4 has TLOU:R, KZ:SF, Driveclub, Blooborne, LBP3, Resogun, Guilty gear Xrd, EVen though The Order wasn't the. greatest and was super short it was a solid game. As I have already stated they have coming out this year already Disgaea 5, Persona 5, Tearaway, Until Dawn, No Mans Sky, Everybodys Gone to Rapture plus third party games like MGSV, The Witcher, Batman, BOPS3 etc.

 

Heck the XB1 has not even got a Halo quality game yet lol. So you really seem to be just going a little over board in my opinion in this thread. Between E3 and Gamescon and that other event I am sure Sony will announce more games to come. Not sure what you are looking for personally but there are plenty of games on the PS4...more than the XB1 actually. But then both the XB1 and the PS4 are still VERY early in their life cycles so I say they are decent to good so far.

If you talking quality exclusives then Bloodborne has got a 93% on metacritic. That's AAA standard. If you are talking and only care about mass appeal and sales then only a handful of Sony Exclusives have ever reached anywhere near Halo, GTA kinda sales and thats Gran Turismo and GOW. It's never stopped Sony having some of the best exclusives, quality wise, in gaming.

Its not such a great lineup when you think about it, we get a forza every year now so thats really nothing special to me and a lot of ther should feel the same now. And halo is halo its also kind of the same now. There are really no new ips coming from MS, rise of tomb raider could also be a timed exclusive.

Until dawn is at least something new and interresting. And persona 5 is more interresting to me than all the games i named.

Really bad analogy lichtenstein. It's more like parents making a variety of food and only one child appreciating it whilst the others whinge and complain there is no food and talking about their friends parents who are about to go treat their children to a Mc Donalds although they starve their children for the whole year.

 

The stupidity here is that people are behaving as if holiday period is the only time they play games, like the rest of the year they are banned from gaming. 

 

Then people are assuming there are no games being released just because we can't wait for E3, gamescom etc 

 

Then there are excuses that games do not count if they are remasters or ports from another system,  or if they are indy, or if they are not multi million sellers, or if they are not games they enjoy, or are considered niche, or are different.

 

It sounds more like excuses being made than valid arguements.


Finally someone here that's making sense. People bashing the PS4 like the competition is providing anything better than what the PS4 is offering. I keep hearing "GAMES" as if the PS4 doesn't currently have more games to play than any of the competition. C'mon now.

Bloodborne is a 93% to people that enjoy Darksouls. To the rest of us... its not a 93%.

Sony never had the best exclusives, Sony fans just insists they do. Sony is a little focused on cinematic experiences for my taste, that's also what hurt The Order.

When it comes to actual enjoyable gameplay, I give the edge to MS.

Multiplatform on PS4 look better then any other console so it's like having an exclusive, so their only rival is PC but then again they have different type of market so it's indirectly competition.
