That change on the title is appreciated :P

Gotta say, OP I actually am kind of digging it. Especially the last one you posted ("Don't Worry"). I can definitely see how the lyrics will get annoying and repetitive if they're used every boss battle, flying scenario, etc. I have to hope that it will really complement the scene and the focus will be on the gameplay with the music there just as background.

Agree to disagree, I guess. Your post made me laugh, though with how passionate you were about it.

It'll be awhile before I figure out how to do one of these. :P

Sad to hear. I guess I will play on mute.

Apples and Oranges.

You can't really say that XCX music sucks, and then sneak in a 'sometimes', make up your mind! :P

As for the music, on their own, they are great tracks in my opinion, but perhaps they might not fit into where they are placed, I think this is apparent with the first track.

But seriously, you pick like four tracks from a game that has FOUR CDs worth of music of which you think are bad and automatically the whole music for the game is bad? If you want to come to an actual conclusion, then listen to all the tracks, but I doubt most of them are bad.

I snuck in tht "sometimes" becuase the soundtrack isn't ALL bad, just these songs I've posted, and maybe a few others. I overexaggerated the thread title ^^

The game has quite a few really good songs, but I'd rather have ALL the songs being mediocre than have some being really good and others being bad and ripping me out of my experience.

Just gonna make a small comment on this bit since the other bit has been already accounted for by someone else.

I understand that you think that way, but please call the thread what you actually fully think, not just "OH ITS BAD......maybe at times....." For example. Just change the thread title to clearly show what you think :P

But the music in Xenoblade Chronicles was sooo good! What happened here? =(

Opinions happened. There are two of those songs I find annoying, the others aren't bad. Still better than the Final Fantasy XIII soundtrack at least (even the songs here).

Honestly even the weakest FFXIII music is better than most songs in the OP...

I disagree completely, but hey, so is life.

That's how I roll with most Japanese games. I disable the music if I can.

The melody sounds alright but the vocals are kind of a miss, a bit of a shame but it shouldn't be a deal breaker.

Some of the vocals I am down with due to context. The NLA day theme is nice, fits the city setting well. NLA night time I'm indifferent to. Still fits, I just don't care for it. Cauldros, I didn't even notice the singing. "Don't Worry" I actually like :P . Black Tar - the battle theme - is not something I will listen to outside of the game, but it won't bother me inside I don't think. I've watched streams and the battle theme kinda fades into the background. Especially the vocals. And then other vocal themes are awesome. I really like Uncontrollable and Wir Fliegen.

Ehm the cauldros day theme and dont worry are freaking awsome, the others, ehh not that much

I have nothing wrong with the overall anime vibe of the songs but the rapper, well Im just not feeling it.
I dont have an issue with rap either but something about his voice/raps feels rather meh.
