Truth or not, just a reminder: go physical.
Use digital as a back up or minor stuff, someday this might be the sad truth.

Own your games guys, physical FTW!

No thanks, digital is cheaper, and more convenient. Haven't had one taken away from me yet

Or really, digital is cheaper? I didn't know you could re-sell your digital games after you finished them. Or buy digital games at a used price.

digital goes down in price realy fast. and if you wanna resell your digital game well you could sue, if you life in the EU, you could win.

Yeah but the prices in store go down to and are really never much higher. And i doubt suing would work. Also the deals on psn in the EU are less impressive than in the U.S.

And don't forget you will not be able to play hardly any of your digital library on new systems(unless they integrate it into PSN Now but that would still require an extra fee). That's why if i even buy digital it's on PC. You will be able to play these games on any future system you build.

its totaly legal to resell software in europe. and making that impossible is against EU law...

I have only once resold one of my games, and that was cus I absolutely hated it. It's just not something I do. There was one instance earlier this gen where I wanted to get rid of Destiny after a month, and MS was nice enough to give me a full refund on my digital guardian edition.

And yes it's cheaper, because I buy pretty much everything at launch, and in dollars from the US store. Instead of the 60-70 Euros I pay here in Germany. Anything else I'll just wait for a sale.

That's just me

Edit: Buying digital on X1 also gives me the added advantage of sharing my library with my brother (and vice versa) so we only need to buy a game once and still get to play it together online on separate consoles and everything.

All digital future everybody

Publisher would still could block the physical games through OS updates if they really want to.

If by any chance they try to do this is just not downloading it and they can't.

If it's mandatory just don't connect the internet, without a connection they can't do anything to block it.

But you can't play newer games because you don't have the last OS update either.

Digital is not the problem, it's just that there needs to be actual legal measures to protect consumers =)

Yesterday, Sony's servers wouldn't verify any secondary account and locked everything. My main account happens to be secondary because a friend who uses it has crappy internet so listed it as primary on his.

I don't have digital sadly. Living in western Canada is awful since there are only two companies that provide internet, and one has crappy customer services and tries to become a fraud by making you pay hidden fee's, while another one is extremely overpriced. Its sad :(.
