I went for Platinum and never regret that decision, Palkia and Dialga look meh compared to Giratina :v also how can you not love the fact that he's the only Pokémon weak to both of his types ?

Pssh that's not a fair comparison since Platinum is the third and thus better game, so if you waited that long before entering Gen4 then of course that's the version you shoud get. 

So, question for anyone in the UK/Europe:

Have you been able to place pre-orders for either the first print edition of Star Fox Zero, or the Fire Emblem Fates: Special Edition?

As far as I can tell, the Star Fox Zero first print edition has only turned up on Amazon UK so far, and they're either not yet taking pre-orders or have already sold out. The special edition for Fates doesn't seem to be available anywhere, either.

Nintendo's UK store is useless in this regard, too. If you check out the coming soon category for Wii U and 3DS, there's only one game for each system: Pokken Tournament for Wii U and Hyrule Warriors: Legends for 3DS.

Really feel like these editions should be open for pre-order (on Nintendo's own store at the least) given one is out next month and the other is out in May. Anyone had better luck than me?

I think you can preorder the Special Edition of SF Zero in GAME already  https://www.game.es/videojuegos/accion/wiiu/star-fox-zero-first-print-edition/125028  (it seems sold out now).  Special edition of Fates is not ready for preorder yet.

Thanks, but that link isn't working for me. I've tried the UK GAME website and they only have the standard edition for sale. I find it bizarre Star Fox Zero isn't on the Nintendo UK store yet, either. I keep checking on a regular basis because I'd really like to get both Zero and Fates' respective special editions.

Im kinda having the same problem

Here in Australia, when they first announced the Special Edition for NA back in 2015, they opened the pre orders in EB Games. Sooo I preordered it. 

But now after the EU direct revealed the new Special Edtion and the Release date in here, they seemed to have removed it from their site. I might try calling them up soon if my order is still there. 

It could have been sold out already or there waiting for a confirmation.
