Looks like it.. difficulty of creating a website = creating a game confirmed :p

But I definitely am interested to see what their current project is..

Me too. I guess they're working on a NX title, and I expect to see it next year. We'll see :)

I've read Tamaki's Patreon article on the Retro Studios rumors if anyone want's to know what's it says and pick my brains about it. I know it's off topic (so don't ask me about it on this thread), but no one's talking about it and it really is juicy info. Like it's good enough to have been an Unseen64 video. Also, the language of the article made it sound like he WANTS more people to be able to know/talk about it, so I don't really feel bad about sharing the info with other people as long as I paraphrase.

Basically it's about how Retro and Tanabe aren't working with each other on their new game because of stressed relations and Retro's feeling that they've earned their independence by now, but how there's a new NCL overseer in his place. He has it on good authority that it is Sakamoto, which grosses me out. To clarify though, he still does NOT think their game is Metroid.

It is definitely interesting to follow, because of the cultural differences.. Retro wants freedom to make their own games, while Nintendo wants to make sure their games are met up to standard, though these standards will vary..

Retro has been silent after Tropical Freeze so I wonder when and what they will announce..

The article painted Tanabe at a Gordan Ramsey-like character and a perfectionist. This also seemed to have something to do with it. Liam was clear about saying that Retro respects Tanabe and thinks he has a good eye for quality. There was just some clashes of personalities I guess.
