Nintendo is probably wants their big holiday game to be as close to Christmas as possible so they can get better sales without having to drop the price

Even if they still had Zelda they would need to get a price cut. The console is about to be three years old, people are waiting for a price cut. People expect a price cut at that age. Just fifty dollars would help them.

Probably because anything Mario makes sense for a Black Friday game. XCX will sell regardless of its date, honestly. Closer to Christmas isn't bad, especially since December has a notably less amount of releases than November. I don't think a single other RPG is releasing then.
Or they just need as much time as possible for localization/manufacturing. It is a big game, after all.

Oh, I was referring to why they put the releaset date for Xenoblade X in December..
But the Wii U price cut is definitely long overdue

The new one does look better but thats not saying much. The new one is still bland. It needs more colours.

No clue if anyone will find this interesting xD Y2k have been on the few indie games I've been following. Mainly because I got an Earthbound vibe.
It can possibly get a NX port

Oh man, I know as much about NX as everyone else. If Nintendo’s new console supports Unity, we’ll bring YIIK to it. Unity is sort of like “program once, port everywhere,” so it’s a matter of, I’d say, around six weeks per console. It’s pretty short!
