Just pre-ordered Super Mario Maker, so excited for that game to come out! Also, was at my local Gamestop today, and there wasn't a single copy of Splatoon there.

Pretty straightforward ads for Super Mario Maker in Japan (unless the guy is making some witty comments that I can't understand). I trust NoJ's marketing team though.

How many GameStop are in your area?  In mine, there are three quite close to each other and not all have the same stuff.  One has a quite weak Nintendo selection, one has quite a strong one, one has a pretty good one but a very strong 3DS selection.  So it varies.

I honestly love how straightforward Japanese commercials like these are in general. It's just BAM here's the product, name and price now go get it. American commercials seem so long by comparision (not that all American commercials are bad but still).  

Well in their defense, just because summer vacations ended, doesn't mean that the Summer season ended itself :v  Summer has season doesn't end till September 23, so they still have one more month to give more info :P

@John120219:  Yeah, he does seem to be doing a great job indeed!  He is what NoA has needed throughout this gen!

Hope they stay for good, really hyped for Fast Racing Neo, hope they try a different genre for their next game.

Hm, I'm seeing lots of players with ridiculous amounts of defense ups lately in ranked.

But I don't think that's a good idea for the .96 Deco because you almost can't use the splash wall without ink savers and it's already the weapon with the best defensive sub and special weapons. And he's already over the cap of 20% if I'm not mistaken.

Nintendo are doing all the right things with Splatoon. Now, if they can only advertise all their games and systems this well, things might be just OK. Big if though, but the right noises are coming out with Mario Maker. Perhaps Bowser has really turned a corner...we can only hope!

The actually decent SMM ads coming out of NoA might signal a turn for the better! :D
