I don't know if this was ever posted, but Nintendo of Japan recently uploaded this video on YouTube which basically serves as a showcase for the Wii U, both in terms of games already released (including Splatoon, Xenoblade X and Pikmin 3) and those on the horizon (Super Mario Maker, Yoshi's Woolly World, Star Fox Zero, etc.). It's a pretty good video, but my main gripe is that there was just too much Mario. They really should have cut Mario Party 10, Mario & Sonic at Rio and Mario Tennis and replaced them with Fatal Frame V, Bayonetta 2 and Illusory Revelations #FE, because that would have added to the variety immensely and shown the truth of the console.

But that's just my two cents.

Well, guess Club Nintendo hasn't gone down yet. Just went back on and downloaded another game with my coins. Seems weird that they'd be doing server maintenance a few hours before it shuts down.

 I FINALLY DID IT!!!!! After playing ranked for hours n hours today, A+99 has just been reached!!! Man it was so intense, was so dead set on making it today that I told myself I wouldn't stop until I made it. Prior to just now, I had gotten into the 90s a.k.a. one win away 4 times, but immediately started losing again each time. I was so sure I had it the 4th time, as my team was the same and only two new players showed up, but one of them was a god tier Krak-On Roller who just wrecked face. It was like I was playing against a Dynamo Roller, the hardest weapon for me to deal with. I just had no real answers for him, and it didn't help that the Luna Blaster can't outrange him or fend off Krakens. After losing another I thought of joining a different group, but no, that would be cheap and cowardly! I toughed it out and played a bit more cautiously around him, and yeah, kinda just hoped that my teammates with E-Liters and Squelchers would kill him while I distracted him lel. Which they actually did, allowing us to win enough for me to finally stop playing! xD

July 1st marks Canada Day and the end of Club Nintendo.

Joined in 2012 and was able to get Gold for 2012, and Platinum for the following years. It wasn't the best loyalty program, but it definitely served it's purpose by allowing me to get games and physical rewards as a nice bonus. It was a bumpy ride, but overall, it was good so farewell!

Now on to the new program, which hopefully will address all the issues from Club Nintendo
