As for the stage rotation, I'm definitely not a a fan of it either. Doesn't help that it seems to be completely random, thus both Regular and Ranked having the exact same stages at the same time can be a thing.

Nintendo has released a new Smash Bros. commercial in Japan, highlighting the new DLC. Should revive a lot of interest over there, especially with Ryu being added (on top of Lucas/Roy and Splatoon costumes).

OK I think it's time we start taking bets on when Nintendo puts up a damage control Direct with Zelda footage most likely? :P I'm betting it will be within the next three months myself.

I don't think the NX is launching next year at all. Yes it was hinted at, yes it was talked about, however there are quite a number of things that Iwata has said that makes it seem impossible for a 2016 release date. Not to mention it wouldn't be very ideal. I say 2017 would be a better year and give them more to shoot for at launch. They bearly have enough Wii U games so even if they decided to switch to NX I doubt they would have enough time to make games for a 2016 launch. The way it sounds is that its no where near finalized and they're still messing around with ideas.

Surprised there is still so much content locked.. any idea when this mode will be 'released'?
