It was original an August release as a code you get from GameStop/Ebgames/etc. but now is the 2nd chance to get it via password

Holy smokes - I was so pissed that I missed this few months ago - now I got the chance to get them Yay :)!

Indeed, having to grab a code at a retailer is pretty annoying when you don't have any nearby :/

You can't breed Ditto so... huh? Also what data and how?

Unless you use hacks, competitive Pokemon requires much grinding and patience. It's not as bad as before since eggs appear and hatch much faster, but yeah I still don't like spending any amount of time on this boring stuff let alone hours and hours. Anywho, after an S.O.S. chain of 40 Pokemon from then on are guaranteed to have 4 perfect IVs, so do that with Ditto. Have him transform into a mon who only knows Recycle then give it a Leppa Berry via Trick for infinite loop.

D'oh! I meant "trained", not breeded. By data, I mean I lost my perfect Ditto which did all the naughty stuff in ORAS. And, yeah, I was searching and find that same trick. I don't have a 6IVs Ditto, but I think a couple of those 4IVs Dittos should do the trick. It took me about half an hour, so I'd say it's pretty fast. I wonder how SOS battles improves the chances of getting a shiny. I might try and get one.

That still don't make sense, there's no training that affects IVs. You can only catch Dittos and hope for the best. No amount of hope is enough though, as finding a legit 6IV Ditto is practically impossible, so I have to believe the one you had must of been hacked.

Wasn't hyper training a thing for that?

I was hoping it was but the way it works is weird. Hyper training affects only the stats by making it as it would be if the IVs were 31, but doesn't actually change the IVs to 31, they stay the same.

So what you're trying to say is you can train your Pokémon to have the same stats of a perfect 6IV one, but you can't pass those IVs over through breeding because it doesn't change the IVs themselves... is that right?

Exactly right! Excuse my poor wording. That combined with how scarcely available Hyper Training is be why I'm only gonna use it where it's really necessary, namely unbreedables and mixed attackers.
