So, after watching completely the ND, I have to say I'm surprised by the amount of games to come to 3ds. It doesn't even feel like they are padding the releases, it's game after game.

The ones I'm interested are DQVII, DQVIII, SMTIVA and Ever Oasis.

The ones I believe are good offerings for the userbase are SMM for N3DS, Poochy and Yoshi, Pokemon, Ace Attorney, Mario Party and Mario Sports. Also Amiibo fans must be happy.

Fire Emblem Fates finally went on sale so I was able to order both copies of the game.. I have high hopes in this game, but at the same time, am worried about all the new changes added. Hope this game is fun, though I doubt it will exceed Awakening

I really like the emoticons/stickers in SMT #FE though :p

So I just beat Twilight Princess HD, everything good, but here's something interesting;

The game keeps playtime, and when I started today it said 63:50. After beating it doesn't save though so I don't know the final time and went to check the WiiU log app to see how much I played today. It said 5:30. Take away some menu time, me walking the dogs and eating it should come to about 4:45. Added up that makes 68:35. (I don't know if the game would count my eating and dogwalking time anyway because it had the controller disconnected screen the whole time but that doesn't matter anyway)

However, when I look at total play-time in the Log it only says 62:20. And that should include menu-times and whatnot. So what's the deal with that? 62 hours is even less than what the game said before I started today!

Long story short, either the game or the Log is bullshitting and can't tell time.

Wait, you bought physical copies of Birthright and Conquest? You are doing it wrong then. I don't think there's any way to stack them, so you better ordered one of the copies for nothing more than collector's purposes (therefore never open it), or you ordered one of the copies for a friend.

The games were originally $50, and I got the games at a price of $30 CAD each. So if I were to get the digital version of the other game, it would be $25 so I thought I may as well get a physical copy for an extra 5 dollars.

But I totally forgot about NG+ (since the past games didn't have this feature) D:

From what I found, I'll still be able to get Revelations for $25, but won't be able to get the NG+ features, which I'm not really sure what they are either :/

There is no new game plus in Fates. Each physical copy of Fates will generate its own profile card (displays which paths you've beaten and the highest difficulty you completed them at, plus your battle and visit points for visiting other players; these points unlock weapon and item rewards for all save files) and will track its own support conversations log.

Ahh, thanks for clearing things up. So it looks like it wouldn't be too bad if I play them on separate gamecards, though the support conversations will be the main thing I will miss D:

I only plan on running the game once through Birthright and making Conquest my 'main' game which I will do the extras and play Revalations on as well

It might be that TP HD doesn't make a distinction between accounts, so its save files can be accessed by anyone. Meanwhile, the Wii U playlog makes such a distinction. So both the game and the log could actually be right, it's just that one day you might have played TP while a different account was logged in.

That's a clever theory, but there is only one account on my WiiU though.

Or you could sell a sealed copy to someone else for $30 and buy a digital version of said copy for $25 to make everything stack on top of each other. I mean, right now you still have that choice and you won't get around having at least one path (Revelation) in digital form anyway, so you might as well purchase two paths digitally.

I was thinking of doing that, but since I won't be the only person playing the games, having physical copies of both is a lot more convenient than a digital one
