Greninja would be a cool addition to the game, can't really think of any other Pokemon from the top of my head.

Hitmonchan, hitmonlee, Hitmontop, Hawlucha, Hariyama, Swampert, Scyther, and those are just off the top of my head.  You could get more inventive if you don't want conventional fighter, something like Rapidash or another legendary like Xerneas.  There are plenty of options here.

What are the chances that the new Pokemon will be one from Sun and Moon? Would be a good way to advertise, but at the same time, may not happen because it's not even out yet, plus it would be more of a wild card without any previous fanbase

Nope that's your opinion. What is a fact is that there's no contain on Flounder, the enemy can pop up from literally anywhere, thus it becomes less about skill and more about luck since it's mostly about who sees who first and little else a.k.a. Call of Duty. Poor weapon balance aswell since ranged weapons like Chargers and Splatlings have little going for them here while Rollers and Blasters have a field day.

I believe despite the awkward formatting the Dynamo changes apply to all three variants. I was already using Special Duration Up on my main Kraken.weapon the Slosher Deco, so going from 7.2 seconds to 6.6 isn't too bad.

Unfortunately the update lacks Spyke fixes or a way to get Sea Snails outside of Splatfest. I suppose there's still hope for an update 3.0, but the thought of them just leaving things they way they are is disheartening.
