Forums - Nintendo - What would you like to see Nintendo do now that the Wii U is profitable?

I doubt they will be profitable for long, wasnt the reason for the loses prior because of R&D costs for the Wii U? So devolopibg the NX should cost them again some heavty cash for a year

" What would you like to see Nintendo do now that the Wii U is profitable?"

Bundle without gamepad (pro controller instead) thats 100$ cheaper.
Would drive sales up quite abit and the lost profit would be made up by software sales.

It would show they are dedicated to makeing good software for the wii U for atleast another year or two.

Expand their development teams so that they can provide a more consistent stream of software.

A little bird told me Kojima is looking for a job. It would be a hell of a development team leader to have.

Kojima working for Nintendo?

The internet would be on fire!

Need something off Play-Asia? http://www.play-asia.com/

I want Nintendo to form more 3rd party partnerships, or create a team that exclusively handles ports of popular 3rd party games to the Wii U/3DS. I also want them to make the Xenosaga trilogy to Wii U.

Buy (save) Konami.

Konami isn't in danger, they are just not interested in games anymore.

OT: At first I'd like to see a receipt that the actual Wii U is now profitable ;)

Nintendo in its whole history had only two year without profit (minus).

For year 2014. they strategy was to back company in profit with healthy business, they done that. After minus for 2013. year of around -$200m they made profit for 2014. around $350m.

For 2015. year they targes is similar, around $300m. For that target they estimate all costs including R&D for next consoles.

Only this, nothing more.

Yeah I din't make myself very clear there. I meant save as is their gaming IP.

I know Konami have their pachinko and fitness/gyms that keep them very healthy.

Like you say they seem to be losing interest in gaming and I don't like the idea of their IPs not being used.

They should have a fire sale, MG would be at home on PS the rest is up in the air imo. Some great IPs there including Hudsons stuff. Defintely some games that could benefit Nintendo.

Drop the price of the wiiu

Do something with release dates. This situation just horrible.
