I said non issue because it's not an issue you would actually have normally. If you played 2 sessions though, then maybe it wasn't just bad luck, but it's also not the game's fault either. There's surely something wrong with your connection - and don't jump the gun here and start attacking me with your 7mbps downloads and being able to play other games or whatever, because there IS something wrong with your connection. Maybe it was unstable on the day, maybe your Wii U is faulty or something, maybe there's an issue with the Splatoon servers with people who live in your area, man, I have no idea what it is, but don't blame the game for it.

Dude, no one is blaming the game. Again, why so defensive? All you get from me is what I experienced. Anybody could've been at fault, me, the Wii U, Nintendo, doesn't matter though. Because of my bad time with it, I'm reluctant to buy it day 1, thats all there is to it.

That's in the past though. In this thread, all you hear is my impression about the beta. The real issue is people telling me not to post my impression because other people had better experience. "its your fault" No the hell it aint. And it doesnt matter who or what is at fault. I'm giving you my thoughts about the game, I didn't ask your thought about my thought. Who you think is at fault is irrelevant here.

Well they shouldn't attack you as long as you're not making generalisations, I agree with you there.

Still, if it's possible to rent games over there you might want to try it out again and see if it's better. Or maybe you know somebody that is getting the game.

I got defensive because you sounded really offensive at some points, especially when you first started talking about this. That, and I'm also trying to convince you that not getting it day 1 for such an uncommon issue isn't a great choice because it shouldn't happen again. But well, whatever I guess... you're certainly getting a more complete package (and for less money) if you wait.


Spur of the moment I guess, the other thread came just as the 2nd course ended in frustration for me. In here though, it's just an impression of my experience.

 

I'm off to sleep and I fully expect to receive replies from other people who didn't read through the thread, discussing the same thing.

Yeah, no joke it's not MW2.  Or else they would have called it MW2. Instead it's called Splatoon and is played for different reasons other than being a MW2 clone.  Which is the point.

And yes, I know that I am about the only person on the internet who lists these two as the main complaints.

They're my two foremost grievances as well, though neither bothers me enough to stop me getting it.
