I recently see some thread about MS to win a generation, and the 70/80% of the user say is impossible... and why? what is the reason?

NOTHING is impossible. Only because XBO is not gonna to sell at PS4 level, that is nothing.

Did you forgot the scary epic come back of Nintendo in the 7 gen?

PlayStation 2 outsold GC by 7:1 --------------> Wii outsold PS3 by >10 million.

Is happen for Nintendo, why can't happen for Microsoft?

So, comment like "not a chance", "impossible", "no way", "lol", "are you serious?" are silly.

We talk about Microsoft... one of the bigger company ever (if not the bigger)... don't forget this.

It could happen of course! They just have to do it the right way, send the right messages to the consumers.

Probably only have one shot left. I doubt consoles will be around in the traditional way after next generation.

Microsoft just needs to play their cards right if they want to win a gen.

I think there'll only be one more gen with standard consoles, so if they don't win next time, they literally can't win another generation (If I'm right in that the next gen will be the last).

I think they can win certain markets, but I don't think they can win a generation.

Also, they seem to be looking to focus more on PC gaming, which can possibly devalue their home consoles.

I think most peaple think it is not gonna happen because if it wasn't Sony then it's Nintendo. And Nintendo screwed up this gen so it's difinitly going better next gen. As for Playstation, it is known to the people as a gaming company and it will always do well , look at the come back from PS3.
Microsoft however is known as a money company and the company that makes windows, it can compete and have good sales but it won't be the dominating console.

I personally believe 360 won gen 7, but maybe that's just me. Add in hardware and software sold and 360 was the most successful console.
