My LT prediction:

Splatoon: 1,500,000
Xeno X: 1,200,000
Yoshi: 1,000,000

So i don't think, but let's see...

I respect your prediction and it´s possible.

But talking about yoshi:

- DK: Tropical Freeze - 1.1 millions and still selling (1.5 - 2m lft is possible)
- New Super Mario Bros U - 4.7 m and still selling (sure it´s bundled, but the game sells a lot even with the MK8 bundle on the market)
- New Super Luigi U: 2.3 m

The good Yoshi games sold 4.2 m on Snes, 2.85m on N64, 2.91m on GBA (a remake) and 2.75m on DS ( this game was almost a clone of the original)

It´s a pretty consistent saga, except for spin offs and bad games, and even the worst Yoshi on 3ds it´s already a milion seller.

Plus, this is the best loocking game on WiiU, is the sequel to Yoshi´s Island and Kirby Epic Yarn at the same time (2 successfull games) and it has the cutest amiibo of them all, it´s probably going to be the top 1 seller amibo. This game is going to be above +2m, in my humble opinion.

After playing the Test Fire, if Splatoon doesn't break 2 million I'll be shocked.

I think Splatoon will sell the best out of those three.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

I'm going to go with no too. Splatoon has a lot going for it with the promotion it's been getting, and X is quite the epic RPG. Woolly World is just... a cute yarn game about Yoshi. I don't think it'll do that great compared to Splatoon or X.

I said something similar about Kirby's Epic Yarn but that wound up selling 2 million, more then half in the US. Kirby is a stronger brand but despite the promise of both Splatoon and the Xenoblade franchises, I still see Yoshi as the stronger and more guarenteed success and push by the conservative upper mangement of Nintendo.

Yoshi getting about half a million this year is guarenteed, Xenoblade X or Splatoon, not so much. Hopeful but not guarenteed.

I'm more confident about predicting Xenoblade and Yoshi sales than Splatoon, because the latter is an unknown so it could potentially do really poorly or it could potentially strike a chord with people and sell like hotcakes.

I don't think Yoshi will be the biggest seller, though, although the ridiculously cute yarn Amiibos will help. Xenoblade seems like it's got a fairly substantial amount of hype behind it, and at the moment it looks more likely to launch closer to Xmas than Yoshi, which may help (depending on *how* close to Xmas it comes out). I think both of them will sell well, though; they should clear 750K-1M fairly easily within their first couple of weeks, and I expect both to pass 1.5M lifetime.

Splatoon could land pretty much anywhere. It could bomb, or it could be a system-seller. I could see it getting the right word-of-mouth and racking up Mario Kart-like sales because of how unique it is. I could also see it reaching only a very niche crowd, selling 100K in its first week and then disappearing from the charts.

Tentatively, I'll guess lifetime sales as...

Splatoon: 2M (I might be a bit optimistic with this).

Yoshi: 1.8M (the console's a bit spoiled for choice with platformers already)

Xenoblade: 2.5M (off the back of a Xmas-ish release, lots of fans carried over from the Wii/3DS and the way it's done well on most-wanted polls)

This will be very interesting to bump once all three have been out for a while.
Some very bold predictions being made.

I didn't know Epic Yarn did that well. That's pretty good : ) However, do to some different scenarios, such as the Wii U's install base, the amount of promotion Splatoon is getting, and X being likely the biggest game coming this year, I'm feeling Wooly World won't do as well. I could very well be wrong though. I'd be the most glad if all three do excellent! xD

In what respect? I very much doubt it will be their biggest this year in advertising or shipments. They won't give it the Zelda/Mario/Smash treatment.

I guess I mostly mean in size and presentation? It looks to be the most appealing out of the 3 games in terms of presentaion, I think...
