Reboots are basically new games with Nostalgia tacked on.

Pretty much feel the same way for the most part

Add spiritual suppressors in that list.

erm...spiritual successors?

A spiritual successor is a new IP that is vaguley tied to another IP by plot and/or shares a lot of its elements, enemies, mechanics etc. Typically, the IPs have to be made by the same studio.

Examples of Spiritual Successors:

Demon's Souls > Dark Souls > Bloodborne

ICO > Shadow of The Colossus > The Last Guardian

lol...I know what a spiritual successor is...look at the original post.

I like good games.

exactly what i was gonna say, as long as the game is good i dont care.

for example i was dying to play a sequel to Demons Souls but instead i got Bloodborne (which isnt a sequel but instead its kind of a spiritual succesor), and to be honest i cant complain because sequel or not the game is awesome, im already in my 5th playthrough and im gonna start a new character with a different build and get at least another 5 or 4 playthroughs out of it.

i still want that Demons Souls sequel though... the Maiden in Black NEEDS to return
