75,000 in one month considering everything is a pretty good start, imo.I wasn't expecting anything more than 100,000. How does everyone feel about this?

Will VGchartz update the PS4 sales numbers for the latest info released?

China's software numbers are tricky (maybe the hardware numbers are tricky too) because they can buy games outside of the country or through untrackable means.

I think some people were expecting a lot more so that is probably why

75k isn't as terrible as i would have thought but it's still not good. 50k of that was probably week 1. china may go on to sell a million units with isn't nothing but it certainly won't be the "game changer" certain people wanted it to be.

People should be downplaying the console market as a whole in China right now. At least until China is more open in the games it allows to be officially sold there. If/when they do that then console sales might become something of substance. China is so huge that if 1% of people bought a console it would be a 13 million console market, which isn't that much smaller than the French console market last gen. I do think there is potential for a 13-20 million console market there, but not with the game restrictions that are in place at the moment.

Yeah, considering China, and their goverment's policies towards gaming and whatnot, I'm not too surprised by these sort of numbers.
