Well then MS just won Gamescom by default.....the sweetest kind of victory :P

That's assuming they decide to show up at Gamescom or in Europe at all.

Phil Spencer has already tweeted about it. Said they were balancing what to show at E3 and Gamescom in meetings.

You think 1 indie game being successful proves people prefer indies?

So do the hundreds/thousands of successful AAA games not count any more or something?

I don't see where he said people 'prefer' Indies, I can only see where he said they 'like' Indies. Why are you exaggerating the point?

The PS5 Exists.

Indies > AAA

See where he said it now?

No, sorry, I still don't see it. Where does he say people prefer Indies?

Ka-pi96,

Why did you ignore my post?

I guess this is to spread out their press conferences. E3 and Gamescome are pretty close to each other.

Also, sounds like Sony is prepping for a huge price cut around the time Halo 5 comes out.

The one about what was at Gamescom 2014?

I did start looking up the stuff there to see when it was actually announced but it was taking too long. Needless to say very little of it was actually new announcements of games and that's why people watch the press conferences isn't it? If all you want to see are gameplay trailers or what not then that will be on the showfloor and shown at plenty of other times throughout the year as well. Actual press conferences main draw should be new announcements, if there is very little worthwhile that is actually being announced there then what's the point?

Well, I tune in to watch new announcements as well as getting a glipse of my most anticipated titles due to release within the next year or so.

Sony wins Europe by default, no need to show up if they have there own conference later.

Definitely seems like the ideal time to do one.
