We had that discussion 100 times, some of you never get tired of the schadenfreude. It doesnt matter how many times the wiiu sales are bad, you guys had to say the same things always, and you guys enjoy it everytime. There´s nothing to talk about it, people don´t buy wiiu because marketing + price + misconceptions about the gamepad, people like and buy Nintendo games, but they dont like the WiiU. Those games could be selling a ton even on a Dreamcast, that´s why MK8 is at 5m, Mario 3D World at 4m or Smash Bros at 3.6 milions (on 6 months without a bundle...). There´s no more to talk about it. You want to be all the generation talking about the same? well, it´s annoying. Even Nintendo said that people don´t want WiiU as a primary console. Nothing more to say.

Why not just join a Nintendo fan community then though? Nothing wrong with that. This is a sales site this kind of discussion is basically what the site is for. 

Sorry but that's how sales sites work. We talk about sales and the causes of those sales. If you can't take it then that's your problem.

Now the real question is what game is actually going to make Wii U sell 3.4m for FY15? They're pretty bad with forecasts and there's no Zelda. So what is there? Splatoon?

Oh, so this site is made to be saying the same over and over and over just because it makes you feel better to be remarking the fails of another company every week. He is telling exactly the same everybody has been telling for the last 7 months, not a single change on the arguments. It´s annoying.

It is difficult to judge anything based on their forecasts due to their reliability.  If we assume it is the historical overly optimistic forecast, it is probably safe to say it means no price cut. 

However, if they are being more realistic, it could mean there actually will be a price cut.  3.4m would be up YoY (barely).  It will be difficult for the Wii U to match the Q1/2 shipments from last year.  That means it would need to make it up in the back half.  With Zelda being delayed past the holidays, they are either going to need that sales boost from an unannounced game or a price drop.

So if there is no big system seller announced for the holidays at E3 it is possible there will be a price cut for the holidays.  That, of course, assumes that they are actually aiming to hit 3.4m.  Given their track record, it's entirely possible though that they will just miss their forecast.

E3? Definitely wait for E3. And maybe a price cut

Well Sony beat their games forecast and makes a loss. Nintendo does less then their forecast and makes a profit. MS ????= $billions profit.

Odd financials, but at least Sony had a write down (otherwise profit) and Nintendo and MS made a profit.

Gaming at least is pretty healthy besides HW numbers.

Then ignore it. Sales updates are always going to be discussed on here, there's no changing that, hence no use complaining about it. Accept and move on!
