Final Fantasy XIII. Learned from my mistake and never bought another game in that series again.

Fable 1. Fable 1. Fable 1. Fable 1 and Fable 1.

I still have this title, and I don't understand why.

Still the best game in the series.  2 was somewhat of a letdown and 3 is for the most part is terrible the only redeming value it has that it has pretty good graphics and voice actining and tons of easy achievements.

Pretty much got gifts, and bought extremely surefire games until PS3. At least in PS3 I thought these games were surefire.

FFXIII- Abomination of FF series.
GTAIV- Gray and Bland, just did not click with me.
AC 2 and Brotherhood- bought and did not even play. My brother got some worth out of it though.
Civ 5- 1000s of hours into Civ 3 and Civ 4 made me quite bored of the series.

Assasinss Creed 3 and call of duty for Wii U

Are they that bad? I completed assassins creed 4 on wii u instead off ps4 because off the off screen. Was going to get AC3 on wiiu too even though cheaper on ps3

Far Cry - what an impressive tech demo for the time, what a terrible game.

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

Mine was probably Halo, the first one, on PC. Everybody was hailing to the new king of FPS and all I found was some pathetic little aliens straight from Power Rangers trying to invade earth in an epic manor.

13 years later, I still don't get Halo.

Game of the year 2017 so far:

Armourines on n64. Made by turok 2 developers but some reason it was garbage.

More recently destiny on ps4

Dragon ball z on GBC, what a terrible game was that. For the more recent generation games Assasins Creed IV, which was eventhough you could do much more than with 1, 2 and 3,  it was so boring!(maybe I just hated the boat actions and expected/wanted a real Assasins Creed game!)

Hm.. the first one I remember very clearly is Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, I was massively hyped for the game and I ended up hating it after 10 or so hours, completed the story very quickly and stopped it entirely afterwards.

Another game I regretted buying (paying full price) is the PS2 Ôkami - I've played through that one, but was really annoyed by the ridiculous load times. That said I did beat it again when I got the HD version for PS3 through PS+ - that was much more enjoyable imo.
