Not year, but I'm planning on buying Persona 4 sometime in the future because of Clyde32.

FF6 and 9. They were decent. Also Shadow of the Colossus which I really enjoyed

Just recently, I was on the fence about getting Hyrule Warriors. After a bit of chat with Rolstoppable, I was convinced it was a game I'd enjoy. Since I hadn't played a Musou game since the PS2 era, and since I wasn't particularly impressed by them at the time, I needed some convincing. But what I had seen from the trailers and Direct, it looked like the formula had gotten quite a bit better over time. And the Zelda skin makes it better by default. =P

I still haven't played enough of the Adventure mode. But it's addicting, and I have a lot of fun everytime I play.

Thanks Rol.

Hmm, I think of a bunch of games that I was convinced to get. Lost Odyssey, Tales of Vesperia, GT5, Zack & Wiki, and many more.

Not really. I mean there's some games/franchises that I played based on something I saw on the Internet (like GameTrailers' retrospectives on Metal Gear and Final Fantasy got me to play those series), but I've never bought a game based on a single person saying I should. I don't really value other people's opinions when it comes to what I would play because they could have wildly different tastes from me.

Yeah, I have bought a few games over years based on recommendations from this forum. I even made a thread about it.

Perma-death is probably the best feature in Fire Emblem. The game is a joke without it. The game was already too easy, I can't imagine how casual mode would be.

This fire emblem is so easy, you can finish the game with only Chrom and your avatar on hard...you duo the two of them, and you kill all map, wow, so hard.

Fire emblem is not Disgaea, without perma-death, it's not the same game, you can play very-easy mode, because it ruin the gameplay.

This feature was already here on the fire emblem ds, but the game was WAY HARDER.

Especially on lunatic, i couldn't even finish the prologue, didn't tried enough i guess.

Well, I appreciate that you feel that way, but I obviously disagree.

More people than I thought. I only remember the craze with all these The Last of Us posts that made me crazy in where I just bought the game. (Still my favorite game ever and only game in which I played the story mode more than 5 times)
