Yep, had a few gems recommended to me by fellow vgcharters.

A lot of games... I made two threads for me buying X360 and Wii, and needed good SW for them... have bought about 30 games from their recommendations alone... plus the other 20 that I would already buy with the system.

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

I mean, I bought 100% Orange Juice to play with my online friends if that counts.

I also went back to playing Demon Souls because of some input from online friends, although I had already bought the game.

Rarely, I usually find games that interest me, and someone can further convince me to get it

I think someone did for FF14.

The games looks horrible in the beginning before the rework, and i read tons of good reviews from players so i tried...

And now it's my favorite mmo ever, and i don't count the time i pass on this game.

Yeah, I have bought a few games over years based on recommendations from this forum. I even made a thread about it.

"So, I've been frequenting these forums for a few years now.  If you don't know me it is because I mostly lurk."

But in hindsight we know that it was because you had nothing worth of value to say and didn't hang out with the right people.

What? Still nine hours of being nice left to go? Don't worry, for you I gladly make an exception.

lol, glad I am an exception!

Xenoblade and Persona 4.

The internet itself influences me to buy games. I check reviews, gameplay vids, ect.

Well someone on the internet advised me to play the Deus Ex, X com, Dragon Age series. Well they where respectable people, and had great manners on forums. Obviously you don't listen to random people on Youtube, and those Hate and fanboy wagons. Even on Vgcartz there are still good people.
