An amiibo might happen, but they would need a new set of amiibo by then, or at least any Mario amiibo would do the job for a Mario section, for exemple.

I think they shouldn't wait too long and have it out next year to take whatever momentum Amiibo has and push it to a higher level.

Such a game would probably be more like a minigame collection, activated by the different Amiibos, but hey, why not? It worked on WarioWare after all.

Assuming the amiibo craze is still around, that would certainly be quite the launch title.

Of course, since the amiibo craze is still more than relevant, now would be the best time to make a game centered around amiibo.

Seems feasible, I would definitely buy the console if I was a guy who manages to amass a huge collection of Amiibos.

I hope those thingies are not mandatory for NX.

Can't see it myself. I means amiibo universe game ala a mix off genres depending on the amiibo is so obvious I just think Nintendo will miss it and not capitalize on it. I means imagine a full Zelda temple or a huge 3d Mario level etc

I think it will have to be much sooner than that. Possibly brought up at E3 this year with a release date of next year.
Amiibo might continue to be a 'thing' but the sustainability of them could be difficult in the fairly near future.
Although, as is Nintendo and what they tend to do, better or worse, they will likely try a new structure of game than what has been and looks to be the norm of the massive figurine games ie skylanders, Disney Infinity and likely Lego whatever. I fully expect to see something rather different, again likely sooner than later because the market is already getting flooded.

I think so too, but this Amiibo game won't be an application, and don't think it would be a 'killer' game either..
