Xenoblade Chronicles X

They both do in my eyes. I think a LOT of work and creativity went into making both, though obviously Xenoblade X seems like it would be a lot harder to develop. We shouldn't sell Splatoon short though. There seems to be a LOT of customization options, different game modes (single player, 8 bit mode, and 4 online modes we know of) all from a game that seems to be very outside of the box on the fps/tps genre. 

I bet Xenoblade cost about 5x as much to make.

Knowing the outside talent that came in on this project, I would agree.

Splatoon should appeal to a wider audience and will also have more legs, so that's my choice, 1.7 millions vs. 1.2 would be my guess.

Xenoblade has already been a hit in Japan, with the game and bundles selling out , I could see Xenoblade X getting to 600'00 in Japan within four months, it' seems to be a monster at the moment.

Splatoon has some big advertising behind it. I would not be surprised if it hit a Million sold within a month.. For Game starved Wii U owners it's a must have and with 4 million owners in the USA alone ,a lot are going to buy a shooter.

Plus i think it could move some systems in the UK as the shooter genre is a popular genre here. But the biggest downfall for Europe is the three week late release of the Splatoon console bundle ,in USA it launches same day as game and the game is a digital download and comes with Nintendo Land as well.

In Europe it's a physical copy of the game but no Nintendo Land. Obviously they fear having shortages of the game as there delaying having the Physical copy bundle on sale till June 18th or there abouts.

There gonna lose sales I'm sure compared to releasing the bundle at the same time..

World wide in the end i think Splatoon will nail it. Xenoblade X is a slightly niche game ,you either play those type of games or you don't .Everyone plays shooters of some sort. Life time Spaltoon = 4 million - Xenoblade X - 3.2 Million

I think it'll be close, but i'm gonna go with the bigger game, Xenoblade Chronicles X.

of course, cuz all we know that those 100 millions consoles werent colecting dust by the time  the game came out...

I think you're going to be fairly dissapointed if you're expecting 600k Xenoblade in Japan alone. One store was sold out from an ancedontal internet report. 

Personally, I'll never understand why almost every Nintendo game is asked to be ported to the XB/PS when I don't ever see anyone asking for games like LittleBigPlanet or Sunset Overdrive on Nintendo consoles.
