Marvel isn't known to make good use of 3D unfortunately.
The 3D was horrible to be honest and even the trailers before the film had much better 3D in my opinion. I would argue that wearing the glasses is just a bothersome and an inconvenience. Hopefully you enjoy the movie! Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch are amazing! :D Ultron is incredibly underwhelming and not nearly as well developed as his comic book counterpart. I only state this because a lot of Marvel fans such as myself are a little disappointed by this, little being an understatement. :/ Other than that it's pretty awesome!!!!

It was great! Just make sure you're far enough from the screen.

Bet with Xander XT:
I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531
Me!
I watched it in 3D last night and thought it was pointless.
Sadly there were no 2D options for me to watch.
Movies to see in 3D:
-any Pixar or Dreamworks CGI animated film of the 3D era, really. If you want to be safe and always have a great experience, just skip the live action stuff
-Dredd -shot in 3D with real skill and some amazing scenes
-Resident Evil movies Apocalypse and beyond, they may be 99% style and 1% substance, but the 3D is glorious
-Underworld: Rise of the Lycans -although it's some the best 3D I've seen, the picture may be too dark for some environments
-Lion King -surprisingly awesome for a conversion of 2D animation
-Star Trek Into Darkness -perhaps the best experince watching a 3D movie I've had, repeatedly. You haven't lived before you've witnessed lens flares in 3D
-the IMAX 3D stuff, all of it

Unfortunately 3d is the only way I can see it in IMAX but oh well it shouldn't detract too much (already saw it regular here at school)

Came here just to say this, lol.
I saw it in standard 3D, not IMAX, it was fine, nothing special. The least of the problems with the film though. I noticed in the cinema that the 2D showing seemed to be more popular.
