I don't really like the prices tbh... I may sound entitled but I want both games for $50 or $40... Not $60 and certainly not $80 even if it includes the DLC... Yes this game is going to be awesome but there is no way would I be paying $60 for it or $40 for one of the versions. And the reason is that you only get to experience one half of the story and not the other for $40 and while each game itself may be better than the previous itterations, it is still not something that I would want to support at all. I want the full version for $50 excluding the DLC that includes both because that is the most that handheld games went to. I certainly don't want to pay $60 for it

But if both games has just as much content each has Awakening, wouldn't both games seperate justify the price?

That said going by Japan, if separated i can see $40 each with other as dlc for $15.

Not to me because all it is, is just another prespective from what it sounds like. And while there will probably be plenty of levels that are exclusive to each version, I am pretty sure there will be levels that will be avaliable on both excluding up until chapter 5 that is. I really hope it will be $50 for both versions or $40 for both versions cause if they do that for NA, I would be super hyped!!!

I wouldn't really say hardcore FE, but just that it probably will be more difficult...

Though not confirmed, I'm pretty sure that Nintendo will have the two in one for the western release, as FE is more popular in Japan... though it may be a $50/55 game instead of $40/45

Cant argue with that intill June, i think its hinted that the games will be completely different, meaning its not going to be just a mirror of each version aka Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire (Team Magma vs Team Aqua).

Well Hoshido will be probably focusing more of defending their country so Nohr will be constantly fighting them and most of the game we'll see Norh royal family pissed that the avatar betrayed them and the leader will ignore his crazy ass Father (the King) because of the hurt/loss of the avatars betrayal.

Yet if you stay with Nohr i feel as it will be  heavily focus on Civil war thus changing the game and story completely.

When the games released i'll make a thread without much spoilers to the story to tell everyone who wants to tune in how different each game is.

Problem with people is many jump to conclusions fairly fast without waiting for more evidence to see it through (which some including us are eagerly waiting on).

I do agree it be a major F you if after ch 5 the game is 80%+ a copy and paste and your literally on the opposite side in each chapter of the game (like Ch 6 is in FE:IF)

I'm thinking $29.99 each or $49.99 for both would be ideal.

Good to hear the games are getting some exclusive contents that seem meaningful like maps.

I think If both games continue to have a lot of exclusive content that is meaningful then paying one game for $40 and the other for $10-15 isn't bad since that's still less than a HD retail game. However $55 for two 3DS games that are developed with the same engine and time frame is kind of expensive. Let's hope there's a lot of content to warrant a price like that.
