Bit disappointing really. I really like the community here and the instant news on all things gaming but I do miss checking in every week or so and seeing brand new figures. I hope things turn around soon though.

Things are going seriously wrong with this threads too. I think people is not blind and can see there is no numbers yet so what's the point of a thread saying something we all noticed already?

If you want answers better send a message straight to site admin because users don't know what's going on either.

...we should organize a strike. get everyone to abandon the site for a week and let that ad revenue drop to nothing. maybe then ioi will start taking this site seriously instead of milking it like he has the last year or so.

I was really looking forward to seeing PS4 taking 50% of the market, but now that's (probably) already happened, it's probably going to be glossed over quickly with the next week's numbers. I dunno what's going on here anymore, but with the lack of numbers and the impending website redesign, I'm wondering if numbers are about to be phased out completely. Dunno what the site would even be called then, but things just don't add up anymore.

The problem is with each passing day there is a chance the numbers will be posted. But I am very tempted to stop coming to this site except for Mondays (GFK-Chart track day) and Thursdays (Media Create / Famitsu day). Indeed until the VGChartz numbers actually catch up and are within 2 weeks of the end of the sales week the numbers are already of not much interest when they're posted.

I certainly think this site deserves reduced site traffic at least until there is more open communication on the whys and wherefores of the current publication pattern for weekly charts.

I'm probably gonna give this site another month or so tops. If no new numbers populate at that point, I'll consider going elsewhere. GFK and Famitsu can be seen anywhere else on the web and neogaf will have a good NPD thread like always so really unless you're posting in a Nation/Empire thread there's no point to being here. I agree that the site deserves less traffic as well given the lack of updates.

I'm not one to comment on threads such as this one, but i couldn't help notice that i don't remember seeing something like this before. And i have been here since 2007 - or was it 2008?!
I also realized i'm no longer here for the sales figures. With all that has been happening since last month, i just stopped expecting them to come out.

I'll go make my own VGchartz, with blackjack and hookers!
