This has nothing to do with the quality of the game. He was playing at 200cc, and grinding. That much friction will, like another poster said, cause a track to melt. Read a physics book people!

Seal of Quality never was about good games it was about official licensed carts. Since what killed Atari and caused the 83 crash was too much garbage and anyone was allowed to make a game for it. Nintendo solved the issue but make the seal for people to know this is a Nintendo licensed product. If it had to do anything with quality of the games then LJN would never had a game.
