On a side note I really think a little price cut and aggressive bundling would be a huge help.

Limited Editions:
Red console with Mario 3D World and/or NSMBU
Yellow console with DKC Tropical Freeze
Blue console with MK8
Green console with Splatoon
Grey (Arwing style) console with Star Fox

and upcoming:
Orange console with Metroid Wii U
Gold console with Zelda Wii U

They could even throw in all relivant Virtual console games with these packs. Call them Limited Edition Legacy Packs.
