Forums - Microsoft - Halo: MCC HCS Cup cancelled due to joinability issues - 199 days after launch

Truly disheartening for a franchise that helped surge MLG from its beginnings. Here's hoping 343i can use the opportunity to obtain many of the issues from the Master Chief Collection and prevent them fron happening again.

People just go to Twitch and type Halo: TMCC and you'll find people streaming MP at any time. Seamlessly.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. You can bet Halo 5 will have the best online structure ever made. I enjoyed MCC and one of the best games in its year. However I am a single player type of guy so I havnt touch the Multi player.

Those saying MCC is worse then DC think again. DC had issues all around the board and its primary focus is online while MCC still has its issues for MP, its Single player is still better then most FPS games today.

MCC sits on a 85 meta and thats considering its broken online. DC sits on a 71. Games are in different leagues in quality.  Imagine what MCC would have gotten if it's online was functional on day one.

i was expecting a comment like this. yeah sure, people can play the game, but the cold hard fact was that an entire tournament was cancelled due to the online issues that are STILL present after 200 days. why was it cancelled if everything was so "seamless"?

S**t happens.

Wow... 199 days and still a mess... This makes Battlefield 4 look like Mario Kart 8 in terms of bug free performance.
