NLG hasn't released a game since March 2013. They could potentially meet a holiday deadline as the game will have been in development for almost 3 years by then (2 years and 8 months).

Plus one of the developers of NLG told on his linkedin profile that he was working on a Wii U game.

Well we dont know anything about what theyre working on though. Could be a 3DS title...

Hardly a confirmation though...

I was looking what skells mean.... and no, is not even a word XD

It doesn´t sound very cool to be honest, but who cares? I will call them dolls anyway, they are called that way on Japan so is not incorrect :)

It's clearly short for skeletons.

They will probably give us a date at E3. still think it's july or august.

Pretty sure it will be their big holiday game now that Zelda got delayed...

How can you be pretty sure when nothing supports that idea?

Yes, there is. We know localization started early and we just got this direct. Releasing in america onle a few months after japan makes more sense than 6 months after.

Does it? They could have at least narrowd down the release a bit in the Direct...

I love Nintendo, but I sometimes feel like since Im not a japanese gamer, I dont mean much to them...

Worth noting that games don't always release when they are done. Nintendo has a strategy when it comes to release and it isn't uncommon to position releases to release at specific times. I wouldn't be surprised to see Nintendo schedule this for release during the holiday if they don't have another real heavy hitter for that time frame.

is this strategy always correct?

XCX won't be their holiday game, it does not have the necessary mainstream appeal.

Their big November releases are always a game that can sell to the masses; Smash Bros, Mario, Zelda, etc.
