Yeah we talking about Wii U here which is not perform like GC, and also patern and trend can be broken but not demand and hype, except if bad news comes around, to maintain the hype they need to release the hardware as soon they reveal the hardware , they need to learn from today standar not the old way. But again this is just my opinion and sugestion or maybe normal people who want to see Nintendo success but it's all depend on Nintendo.

The expected,a console at full price cannot be near or dominate a console that got a price drop of 50$ dollars in 2002(first year++++) and another one of 50$  (second year)in 2003...

Now we are at the third year of gc-wii u aligned and they are close for this period so far,as the there isn't any price drop for gc in the same time frame and the effect of the previous two price cuts was fairly curtailed in the third year...

I am not saying your prediction is bad or might wrong but simply using as an old standard and trend of the past Nintendo patern to determine and predicting when they will release the console is  easy to debate. We are not in the past. and Nintendo with their logic will not follow the same mistake.

again if u insist using GC as sample it will be the same, and GC is different and it perform better then Wii U, and also exist on different circumstance, Nintendo now is also indirectly competing with smart device like tablet, and smartphones. So your answer is right and my answer is right it just dont use an old patern like einsam dolphine say patern and tren can be broken. If they are ready why not ?

Those aren't trends - they're coincidences. No multibillion dollar company is using tradition when deciding announcements like this. It's case by case, and this situation is nothing like others.

Still 2016. Can't come soon enough, if you ask me.

I`m quite sure myself they won`t be releasing NX in 2016. Seems too soon to do that after hardly announcing it officially at E3 next year. They usually give some time before releasing their next device. I figure the earliest would be spring of 2017, and around the end of fall at the latest.

I think you are correct... but i sure hope you are incorrect... cause a new console in 2017 will be a big mistake from Nintendo. Unless the thing is a total "revolution" in gameplay experience, something big like games whit mind control helmets, it will be the console that came 4 years later, and not the next gen that will set PS4/X1 as "things of the past"...

I hope Nintendo will hold NX realese to 2018 and i think they should time their "nintendo new console" whit "microsoft new console" and put a end to this gen dominated by PS4 early.

You may be correct, but I think for them they should release something sooner - or start porting their games to other platforms.

But if they are making money with it. They can go at their own pace. Lego Dimensions might be really good for the demographic on their consoles.
