Probably not. I think it would be unwise for nintendo to release a console too soon in this gen because it would still have to compete with the ps4 and xbox one's extensive game libraries. It just needs to time the release of the console right and make sure it has 3rd party support.

I think their next consol will be a success.... however I dont think it ll hurt ps4 sales much.
Its still a year or more off anyways right? By then PS4 will have a big install base, and lots of developers makeing games for it... people will still buy the ps4, simply for the games library.
