I'm 210 hours in and level 60 for a while. I'm trying to clear up most missions or tirants before i begin on chapter 12. Even with a full party of level 60, those tirants are guite a hassle. As a samurai gunner, i sometimes have to go overdrive for like 10 minutes on foot to grind them down.

Game is awesome :).
One of the two reasons i got a wii U. The other is Zelda, which looks as equally awesome.

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

230 hours into it finishing all the side quest I can while farming for items to build the Ares skells. I would love a back story and more info about Mira because frankly the mystery behind it is quite compelling. I haven't had many areas where I've had difficulties however exploring everything and seeking unexplored hidden areas has opened up a lot of holy shit moments in terms of art design and running for my life.

Just a tip for anyone who wants to grind or upgrade level from some characters with a low level:

Banshee Cave in Sylvalum is the perfect spot. There are a lot of enemies with level 55-56 that are very easy to kill. Juste enter and go to the left (found the right path useless). Some of my secondary characters where level 12-13 and when we finished the cave they were level 34-36. The better way to do it it's having at least 2 level 50 skells, but with 3 is a lot better. Now the Murderess and Hope are level 50 in less than 4 hours.

BTW, I hate affinity. Never paid attention... ugh, what a mistake.

I finally unlocked Mia, that must be among the longest quest chains to recruit a playable character in video game history. But she's the best character outside of the main cast.

4 hours? What about less than 10 minutes?

There's a level 80 tyrant Skell on an island in the near the north western corner of the map. It can be beaten with level 50 Skells and gravity weapons like G-Busters. 9999 experience every time.

Damn, didn't know that, but isn't that pretty difficult?

She's the best character, including the main cast. Her joking around in Caldrous honestly made me chuckle. At least, I hope she was joking....

No, one of the easiest high level tyrants, that's why I said it. 2 level 50 Skells with G-Busters and the fight should only last a few seconds. Or one Skell with a G-Buster and that weaker gravity weapon. Maybe even only 1 hit with Killer Mechanoid augment (easy to craft). "Return to Skell" to reset.

I think my 3 50 level skells have G-Busters.

About to start Chapter 9, and feeling very nervous as I'm told it's a frustrating difficulty spike.

Any advice, guys?

EDIT: Nvm, turns out I was overlevelled, so it was fine. The fog fell right in the middle of the fight though, which was a hassle.
