Thanks. Damn, I was skiping the afinity quests because I believe there are regions that I need those flying skells. Guess I can do without it, right?

Yeah, you can go anywhere on the planet without your skell. There are some flying islands and things like that, but you can do all the affinity quests without the flyng skell, fear not. But expect long walks and some swimming. On the bright side, once you plant a probe in that continent, you'll save you the walk the next time, so it's not so useless in the end.

Good, I fast travel a lot in the game. Guess this weekend it's going to be an affinity quest marathon!

There are some meaty ones. I loved Hope's affinity quest, for example. She's a nice character. And I think you can't grasp the entire game and its world if you don't play those quests, so have fun ;)

Finally got my skell, it was easier than I thought. I have more than 1 million in funds so I guess it´s time to spend it all in gear as well as skells for my party

There should be an easy way: put 3 of the members you want to build affinity with in your party and accept fetch quests at the mission terminal that are already done (press ZR to see the requirements). I usually have the materials for 1-3 missions. They are immediately finished after you leave the terminal and build affinity. Enter it again for new missions and so on...

EDIT: nah, I just tried it and you see a heart above their heads every time, but it almost doesn't fill the affinity meter.

Yeah, i tried that but the affinity meter remains almost intact. I'm saying these because: (I'll keep in "spoiler tag", nothing about the plot, just about the content you unlock after you beat the game)

when you finish the game, you unlock "support missions", missions you can do in less than 10 minutes. Each one of them gives you a quarter of heart, so it's fairly to say that in less than half an hour, you'll unlock a heart. Also, you have missions who give you like 8000 exp. points, 70 BP, 300000 credits, lots of miranium... So I wouldn't bother in grind a lot affinity or credits, after you beat the game, this is fairly easy and won't take you a lot of time.

Yeah, I beat the main story today, that seems pretty useful. I'll come back to this after hitting level 50.

Chapter 12 at level 45/46 wasn't easy btw.

I know, I beat it at level 47 and it wasn't a precisely easy task. I was just about lowering the boss difficulty, I beat it just before doing that :P. What do you think about the story? I think that even if it wasn't XC great, the ending delivered and it was certainly unexpected.

I'll share my thoughts about the "it's something about this planet" part later this week.

You can complete is, but it may be annoying early in the game from what I've read.

You'll need a resouce that can be found at FN 115 and 118, so make sure to plant probes there. The energy tubes can be bought in the barracks for 22 tickets each. The Cruise Deflector Airs are between FN 121 and the entrance of Oblivia. Fast travel back to FN 121 if you don't find enough (items respawn).

An asshole has lowered the entire score of the game on metacritic by giving it a 5/10. Kill Screen is a freaking joke, why metacritic allows this clickbait publications to count? They did the same with Undertale, Rise of Tomb Raider, Bloodborne the old hunters, Super Mario Maker and now XCX. Their intentions are just too obvious.

It's back to 85, courtesy of a 100 from Time! ;)

Wait, is it truth that you can only fly in your skell until after chapter 9? If it so, then I'm going to make afinity quests -_-

I was waiting until ending chapter 6 that's when you get your skell license.

Save your game before accept any affinity quest, some affinity quests are so hard if don't say impossible to achieve at some point
