You can complete is, but it may be annoying early in the game from what I've read.

You'll need a resouce that can be found at FN 115 and 118, so make sure to plant probes there. The energy tubes can be bought in the barracks for 22 tickets each.

Thanks for answering I have now completed it , already had the plants so that was ok used some tickets for the tubes following your advice, then hiked out to oblivia for the last parts, cheers.
