Yeah the game sends a message every time a friend starts playing

Alright, that means that I can deactivate it like the miiverse and trophy posts.

I finished chapter 11 yesterday at level 43 and with 30.38% exploration. The last chapter is ready, but I'm not sure if my level is high enough because the chapter 11 boss was level 45. My playstyle was exploring with planting probes and recovering parts without level grinding. But I used the online tickets to craft some powerful gear and upgraded all stores to level 5. I always had much Miranium because I planted probes in Sylvalum and Cauldros before the story even came to Oblivia (yeah, with that 10 minute swimming, lol) |
I don't know... There are probably a pretty good amount of xenoblades sitting under Christmas trees right now...
RolStoppable said: About that swimming, once I uncovered the map for north Primordia, I realized that there is more or less a way on land. There are several islands that form a path to Sylvalum. Not that that makes the way shorter, but it makes the whole affair less nonsensical. I think most people wonder if they really have to swim through an ocean. The developers should have put in a mission that guides the player to the northern regions, would have made it less of a headscratcher. |
Or just unlock a warp point/transport option to get there. The humans do have helicopters after all, even though they all seem to forget that, and instead pin their hopes for flight exclusively on a 13 year old girl's spare time project.
Where is "mission control", I can't find the damn thing. I just want to get this stupid flight test mission so I can fly. And everyone I've asked says the same thing... mission control. Yet they never say where the hell I can find this F%^&* mission control.
Edit: Nevermind.

Quite right. You're also forgetting the first game sold only 160k in the first week in the West, which XCX has no doubt bested, despite the dramatically smaller base.
So, all in all a first week of 200k or so would be more than good.
Also Cannonballz, Mission Control is directly outside of the BLADE Barracks. You not done any basic missions yet?

It's where you accept basic missions, i.e. next to Eleanora, immediately to the left when you exit the barracks. Presumably, you've been going there for a while, no?

I beat chapter 11 at level 42, so I think you can give it a shot. Boss is at level 46 if I remember right, but with a good gear and skells is beatable. I think maybe I rushed too much beating chapter 12 at level 47, it was hard as nails to beat that lol.

Yeah, that one was rubbish. So unfair that you can't walk past such an enemy. Okay, they are sensitive to sound, but that you can't even sneak by sucks. When I cleared it, I flew in with a skell from above and picked up the item by landing on the alcove. On the flipside, you get seven star animal retrieval missions and just have to run to some point without any encounters. Another thing that is annoying is that some low-level enemies don't stop reacting to you. There's that cave on the west side of Oblivia where I had to go to pick up some collectibles and I had to fight those pricks several times. |
I died about five times doing that welcome back conner quest every time they would lock on a fraction of a second before pickup . I ended up succeeding by doing the usual come up over the cliff, but then I walked slowly at a slight angle to keep as far away as possible whilst still nearing the red target and managed to pick it up a fraction of a second before I was spotted then simply jumped to safety over the cliff , it was night time so that may have had some effect but exactly what I'm not to sure since the success was my second attempt at night.
The thing that puzzles me is why ? they obviously set it up to be like that , maybe it was there to remind people to try different tactics to achieve your goal other than combat , if that was the point it did a poor job of teaching us ,then again considering how much of the game design is counter intuative it shouldn't be a surprise, dissapointing yes because you cannot but notice how much better the game flow would be with a few simplifications , but surprising no.
