Forums - Nintendo - Splatoon Wii U bundle for US - BestBuy only

Nowhere near Walmart. The nearest one to me is 150+ miles away. Last time I was there it was pretty busy though.

I can understand the complaints if you don't live near a Best Buy but other than that, what's wrong with Best Buy? It would be the same thing if you were buying it anywhere else and customer service would be a hell of a lot better than more popular places like Walmart.

It would just be nicer to see for every I suppose. The more stores the bundle is in the more people will see it.

People might go to Gamestop and see an old Wii U bundle and not think much of it and not even see the Splatoon game, but with the bundle packaging in stores it's also harder to miss.

This looks like Nintendo just going through the motions in terms of console bundles. Nothing that will excite anyone. Shame.

I agree. But a lot of retailers might not be willing to give Nintendo the necessary shelf space given the amount of unsold Wii U consoles they already have. At the same time, Best Buy needs more customers because they aren't doing as well as they used to and an exclusive system bundle might do that. It works out for both of them.

Nice! I wish this was a worldwide bundle, but is better than nothing.

Looks nice. They need to splash some paint on the console, though. My nephew would do it for them. They could pay him with cookies.

"Best buy only"

Why can't Nintendo do anything without hamstringing themselves?

Believe it or not, Best Buy has supported Nintendo and the Wii-u better than any other retailer.

These types of things don't work unless you advertise them. Nintendo won't advertise because they never do. Best Buy won't because they know no one cares. This won't do jack for the Wii U.

Nintendo really likes Bes Buy, don't they? Anyway, I think this is a cool bundle.
