Ah, so you're saying Walmart doesn't sell a lot of videogames?  That's interesting.

On topic, that Walmart isn't in on this does catch my attention.  It has the highest video-game sales traffic of any retailer in the world and the most pure buying power, period.  Walmart has also been pretty close with Nintendo.  My guess is that Walmart had little interest.  They dictate terms, not the other way around.

Also digital only copies suck.
ALSO why cant Nintendo make the console look cool. Like have paint splattered on it?

It feels like a wasted opportunity in my opinion. The only specially-designed Wii U console Nintendo has made was the Wind Waker HD one.
