I'll certainly end up buying it.

Will be fun to race 44 cars. Hope they enable 30fps cap.

Doesn't bode well for the wii u version. I wonder when they'll actually show it.

I bet Xb one framerate is solid at 60fps but PS4 framerate dips from time to time as a compromise to his 1080p.

Yup, should have taken that bet.

Thanks jlmurph!

The frame-rate on both versions could do with a bit of refining, but i'm hesitant to criticize them too much for giving players the option to create the type of crazy races that most driving sims avoid (the stuff responsible for the biggest drops). I expect most would rather have them available at a lower frame-rate than not at all, though a 30fps lock option might be a good idea for those situations.

The performance gap between the two is surprising though. Including the resolution difference there are times where the PS4 is pushing out 100%+ more pixels every second than the X1, which extends quite far past its traditional advantage. It would seem the X1 version is less optimized than it should be.

At this point I'd be surprised if the Wii U version even sees the light of day.

well, all of them really.

I suspect in the coming years and subsequent steam sales, the pc versions sales will drawf console sales, too.

If all these delays mean we'll get a more polished and stable game, they are welcome. For me they're welcome anyway, as my current PC is far to weak to run it decently, and I don't want to upgrade it this year, as I want to make it low-cost and low-power consumption as I usually do, but able to run most current gen games at mid settings, so the later Project CARS launches, the shorter I'll have to wait before being able to play it.

Crazy options for a console game. It's almost like they designed it for the consumer?

Now that is unique.

It is near the end of the end....
