Mine is too, but I still buy every Guitar Hero that comes out because I always hope it'll get good.  I've liked a lot of the features that Guitar Hero added, such as the open bass notes and the slider bar and a few others, but I'm always disappointed because it always feels wrong.  the notes have little fires that pop up, interfering with the flow of the game, throwing off the timing. This looks to be even worse, with the notes being so high up and overlapping one another.

Like previous iterations, I think the IDEA of the dual layered buttons, and for that reason I will still pick it up to give it a shot, but they're shooting themselves in the foot. DLC can't be cross compatible, hardware can't be cross compatible, etc.  The live stuff doesn't work and will get boring.

I will buy it, I'm sure, but I'm telling you, it looks terrible. Aesthetically and physically.  Just doesn't work at all.

Hated this genre when it hit the scene. I'm sure I'll hate it again. I really doubt that'll it'll have the same impact as the original. I wish they had done some similar to what Gumshoe did for the light gun genre after Duck Hunt. They could have made a runner with the guitar. Better combos put your runner up higher in the level (further to fall if you fail) and let you collect power ups and abilities as you complete riffs and long combos. Right now the game is still stuck in Simon Says. And audience reaction has always been best done in Paper Mario. I don't think realism is going to make it cooler.

At least we have 1 third party multiplat on the WiiU, lol.

Nice to see it come to the Wii U but this isn't really my sort of game

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]

So is this the Tantalus "high profile" third party port that they were working on? Would seem to fit (Guitar Hero is obviously a non M-rated IP).

I'd buy it if my Wii guitar worked for this game. But, as I see, they changed the controls, so, I think I'll have to buy another one... Well, maybe I'll buy it, it depends on its prize. I had so much fun with these games...

Im excited for this but leary also. Time will tell.

I'll be there day 1!

I for one loved this sub-genre in the music game category, as well as the community/co-op driven aspect of it. There was no better gaming experiences for me than playing Rock Band 3 with my three siblings.

And with Rock Band 4 unfortunately skipping Wii U/PC (I'll tell my brother to get it for his Xbox One anyways ), I'll go ahead and get Guitar Hero Live. Can't wait to play the bass once again. I hope there's some sort of character creation system (even if it's limited due to the game's style). That and seeing the band life evolve was a great element in the previous games.

I like the change to the guitar, will try this out.

Atl least they aren't skipping the Wii U
