Could've done with this earlier on. Maybe Atelier Shallie Plus won't chug as much as Ayesha Plus did. And Disgaea D2 Plus will run better than Disgaea 4 Plus. Etc.
Shame this won't affect any existing games, I would've thought.

There wasn't 'an issue'. This just gives devs 30% more memory to use.

NPSV? Sweet. Shame there's barely anyone left developing to take advantage. Some retrospective patches would be nice though.
I wonder how much it'll help in real terms. I remember unlocking the PSP CPU allowed for some massively improved frame rates (Outrun ran at 60fps solid unlocked vs a standard of about 30fps with the restriction.)
Wait does it mean that the games can be 30% larger in file size or they'll have access to 30% more ram from the system?
