Originality: This is a genre that is almost completely lacking in originality. It’s gotten to the point that people get excited about whether or not your shooting from a first person perspective, from the hip, or from a close range 3rd person perspective (which is sad). Black Ops 2 introduces nothing new (except for new skins and sound effects from devices) but it does return the series to something that has been lacking for a long time; a good story.

Graphics: Honestly this game looks quite great on the Wii U. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again that I don’t need a graphical bump up to Xbox one/ps4/overlordpc level to think this game looks great. I can’t honestly tell much of a different between *insert ps3 game* and *insert ps4 remaster of ps3 game* so I could care less, this game looks beautiful graphically. It doesn’t have horrible glitches and loading errors like Assassin’s Creed III did on the Wii U. Yey!
10/10
Art Style: If an art style is fitting to the type of game it is (even if it is realistic) I will accept it as a good choice (as long as the art style is done well). This game is realistic looking and doesn’t offer anything unique in terms of art style ( in general or with the CoD specific series). Would I object to a more stylized CoD game one day? No, I would not.

Story: I’m impressed and shocked. This game had flashbacks to the first game (which I haven’t played yet), references to World at War (which I had no idea about prior to playing game this), an extremely emotional villain with very valid (in his eyes) reasons to why he is trying to blow everything up. I could feel the emotions of this story. It wasn’t forced or half attempted like other CoD games. You could tell they actually took time to put a single player into this game that had a good story. My only major complaint is the campaign felt too short for this generation of games.

Game Interface: Annoying or not? Nothing to complain about.

Controls easy and fluid or difficult and rigid? Very simple.
5/5
Is it fun? Yes! My family and I play it alongside Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros. U.
