Imo its replicating the souls series in every possible way with a slight spin on it.  To me its no more a new IP than Dark Souls was with Demon's Souls.  Theyre all considered the Souls Series to me.

Sunset Overdrive is pretty good, id mark it as number two unless we consider Alien Isolation as a new ip.

PS:  BLoodborne is amazing. I just dont consider it a new ip is all

Titanfall should be on the list. It was a great game but just died off quickly.

Really could have benefited from more varied games modes. As could Evolve

Its not as dead as people think... its not dead at all actually.

Did Titanfall achieve CoD, BF, or Halo success? Nope.
Does it have a population well above average and still plenty of people play with? Absolutely.

I just checked the population (about 6PM Arizona time). There are 6K+ people playing and this isn't the peak hour. Hence, still plenty of people to play with. Many games would love to have that population.

Here's a reality people ignore. Most games hide their population so people can't criticize them. Sony for example does that to hide few people actually play game like Uncharted and Killzone online. Which is why Uncharted 3 and Killzone 3 went free to play, they wanted to stimulate the population. We've gotten to the point Halo:MCC and CoD:AW hide their population because it has become fodder for those arguing an IP is dead.

The only reason people can attack Titanfall for its population because Respawn is willing to show them. Unfortunately, people with an agenda use them to mock the game.

OT: I choose Titanfall. Because its a game I had a lot fun with it and has potential to become something even better.

I was actually more hyped about Destiny because it seemed like the Halo/Borderlands mash up I was yearning for. What we got feels like a soulless MMO. Frankly, I would have enjoyed Destiny more if they focused solely on PvP. That's where I spent the most time. The Titanfall campaign was arguably more enjoyable than the Destiny campaign and neither was satisfying.

Completely forgot about Titanfall.

It happens.

While it reviewed great, still has a healthy population a year after release, and even sold better than most games on that list. It seems like only Xbox fans know how fun it is.

Shadow Of Mordor for me. Although I had hoped for more RPG and less action game I still love everything about it. It was a fun Platinum and I look forward to the sequel (with hopefully better final bosses).

PC GAMING: BEST GAMES. WORST CONTROLS

A mouse & keyboard are made for sending email and typing internet badassery. Not for playing video games!!!

Bloodborne, and then Shadow of Mordor is a distant 2nd

So far: Pillars of Eternity

Shadow of Mordor, and then Codename: S.T.E.A.M.

Wonderful 101, Alien:Isolation and I'd say Bloodborne if I had a PS4 :P
