I haven't played a lot of these games because i just got my PS4 and don't have my X1 yet, but if I had to guess I'd probably have the most fun with Bloodborne or Sunset Overdrive.

My vote goes to Axiom Verge. I prefer games that are games first... story second. I also don't care for games that are too easy (IE 99% of AAA games).

Wonderful 101

I agree with Jaywood. I don't see Bloodborne as a new IP, but of course if people think that it is, I guess more power to them.

My favourite new IP is easily Knack. I beat it two days ago and had a blast. I couldn't disagree more with its critics.

Wonderful 101. Still the best game of this gen.

Why TW101?

Anyway, the only one I've played this gen is Titanfall, and I regret buying it.

What do you mean "why"?

Well, it's... It's shite to be honest. And that's coming from a long-time fan of PlatinumGames. It's not fun and it can be annoyingly cheap at times. In fact those are the two biggest reasons why the game received mixed reviews. The voice acting was the only thing I enjoyed.

I think people are picking it because it's the only new Nintendo IP this gen so far.

But to each his own, if you like it then fantastic. I thought it was poor.

Bloodborne.

Destiny got so old and so redundant far too quickly and had zero replay value to anyone other than the massively obsessed.

Shadow of Mordor was great but suffered from flooding the player with far too many objectives to quantifiably care about.

Sunset Overdrive has great humour but isn't my kind of game (my fault I admit).

No, it has nothing to do with it being a Nintendo new IP (in my case). I love the boss fights, the over-the-top plot, the controls (they are very, very hard to master, but, once you do it the game is a blast to play), the characters... I don't like the insta-kills, some QTEs, and some platforming levels, but, I find it a very good game overall. I think it's a very underrated game, but, yeah, to each his own obviously. It would be boring if all of us liked the same games :P

Edit: I'd say Bloodborne if I had a PS4, I'm a fan of the Souls series so... I don't get why some people say The Order? I don't see anything to love about it, except the setting and graphics...

Bloodborne !
