$180 is a pretty good price and you listed quite a few games you are interested in already so I would go for it.

Its also very good for YouTube,Netflix and internet browser.not just a games machine

for internet browser and youtube i have a pc in my room. i don't use it on other consoles either cause it's worse. we don't have netflix in my country, so....there's that.

Oh OK well the gamepad works like a iPad tablet so could be easier then booting up a PC/laptop etc. Sometimes i play games ongamepad cos CBA to turn TV on. Its quite useful really

I don't think you should get one. Serious.
Nothing to play but washed out Nintendo sequels and a few japanese games. No third party support, weak online, most games don't even have voice chat, game pad isn't as good as it's made out to be. It's cool but far from a selling feature.

If this sounds in your ballpark, please do engage, but I don't think there are a lot of people who find that appeasing, seeing as Wii U's meager sells and it will likely be disconnected before the end of next year.

I make bad threads.

SSB really went downhill after Melee....

Manlet Crew

sure you can get a refurbished one for like 200 bucks and there is a decent library - Bayonetta 2 is pretty schweeet

BUT i suggest you get a New 3DS and monster hunter 4 if you really want to ***** party

Go for it, it's a great console with high quality games!

"Nothing to play but washed out Nintendo sequels"

Uhm... all you get is CoD, Final Fantasy, Assassin's Creed and etc "sequels". Judging by your logic, you shouldn't get a PS4 or Xbox One either.

Weak online? Actually no, it is very good which it is also free.

Gamepad actually is very good/useful. Also, you have the option to use a Wii U Pro Controller if you really don't like the Gamepad that much.

Also, the Wii U will finish its 5 year minnimum life cycle like every other Nintendo console. Wii U is not being replaced until 2017.

How is price an issue at $179? Why would you wait for the next console if price is an issue? You like all the games so the question really answers itself.

179 $ for the basic model, note even the black one and without any games. Also prices fro the games are expensive and you can't find them cheaper even after years of release like you can on xbox and playstation.

Dude, I have most of those games and the elite 32gb with a pile of extras. I put up a forum post here asking people to evaulate it. All I got was people being rude and saying it's worth close to nothing. The 32gb is not expensive to buy second hand and the games, those are also very cheap, speaking from the sellers perspective. Like I'd be lucky to get $300 for the console with wind waker, mario u, luigi U, MK8 + dlc 1 and 2, mass effect 3, lego hobbit, black ops2, a luigi wiimote, pro controller and a load of other stuff. Only selling it because I'm moving abroad from the US back to Ireland.

Games i'm really interested in = Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros, Super Mario 3D World, Zelda WW, Zelda U, SMT x FE.

Games i want to play if i buy it = Bayonetta 1,2, Zombi U, Xenoblade X, Splatoon, Devil's Third, Fatal Frame V, Donkey Kong.

Games that i really hope come out = Pokken fighter, Metroid, Pokkemon RPG.

Other things i like = No online fee, nice controller, it's a pure gaming machine nothing more nothing less.

Things i DON'T like = no 3rd party support (not even fifa and cod), NX announcement, price, Nintendo's way of thinking.

i have found the white model for 179$, cheapest one around.

Should i wait for E3? Should i wait for the next console?

You answered that question yourself. What other reason would you buy a console for than to play the games that you like.
