Forums - Gaming - Polygon Editor bought the Lego Dimensions URL a day before the game was announced

All I know about polygon us they generally have rather bizarre, outlier reviews. Don't care for them.

What a war though! I've never seen a site viciously attack their own fanbase and all potential customers. It was mind boggling.

Really weird to see gaming sites do that. I lost respect for most of them long ago do I didn't care much. Was just shocking to see them say f u to everyone who still cared.

Could someone provide a link to the exchange?

Profoundly shitty stuff.

I believe they're refering to the "Gamers are dead" article in addition to the twitter feeds of said author Hernandez and the likes of Ben Kuchera.

The thing is that they are supposed to be journalists and this is not something you do with insider information, i.e try to profit off someone else's work.

Glad the domain has been handed over, but it should not have been done in the first place.

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

Polygon gives the word polygon a bad name.

I wish publishers would just quit acknowledging Kotaku.

This is about Polygon though . . .

Oh my God...I can't believe I did that. Guess they're interchangably worthless in my head...

Polygon has probably realised that there's no way in hell that people (excl. fanboys) will ever take them seriously and that the only way for them to generate traffic is by acting(?) like idiots.
