Now it's here and I can't even get on the store to dl it! What happens is, I click on the ps store icon and I just get a blank screen with my wallpaper on it like it's loading. But nothing ever happens. I've waited 10min and still nothing. I tested my internet connection and it's great. I was able to go on amazon prime and stream, so it's nothing to do with all internet related functions. I did just dl the new update for my ps4 last night and was wondering if this had anything to do with it. Anyone else not able to get on the store?? |
Mine is fine but hey, welcome to the glorious world of digital/streaming games. Isn't it wonderful? Don't know how we all managed to game without it.

Did you try rebuilding your database to see if that solves your issue?

DO NOT PICK ANY OPTION OTHER THAN REBUILD DATABASE!

?, Ive never had any trouble out of PSN on a normal basis other than messaging that is........Also the PS4 (and 3) WiFI is trash, thank god for powerline adapters. Anybody having issues with PSN is probably on a wireless connection and the PS4 WiFi is just terrible there is no other way to put it. My Chromebooks WiFi is better than my PS4s

Not a long-term solution, but you can buy & download games off the PS Store on a web browser. Just make sure your PS4 is on and it'll start.
Edit: Meant web browser on mobile device or PC / laptop, dunno what would happen if you did this via the PS4's web browser.

I probably have God Tier internet since it runs generally well on wifi all the things, although it cuts out occasionally.
That being said a chromebook is basically a paperweight without internet so

Are you kidding? I have full ubuntu and a quad-core processor in my chromebook.... Please do not attempt to insult an IT Technician
PS4 WiFi is trash, there is no way around it. A Chromebook with a power saving WLAN card puts it to shame..... The WLAN card in my gaming laptop just dominates it, in fact I used to share my internet to my PS3/4 through my ethernet port before I decided to try powerline adapters

Basically a paperweight ;)
btw you probably need a better router, cause I use both my ps4/ps3/pc on wifi for gaming, and I aint got no worries (since my router is downstairs in the office)
scrub tier internet is scrub tier internet
