I predict 24,000,000 3DS in North America and 23,500,000 in Japan...

I won't say if agree or not but I suggest you to rationalize it...:P
I don't really agree with this, lol. I'm almost certain Japan will be its best region.

14,600,000 in the US, US is around 90% of NA market, so, probabily +16,200,000 in NA.
EDIT: also, VGChartz said 16,250,000.

I doubt this, Japan was/is/will be the better market for 3DS.

Well, i know that as for now in Japan the sales are bigger than in NA, but i think that as for now the sales in NA (and EU too) will starting to become bigger than in Japan.
2014 the gap is seriusly small (NA: 2,950,000 VS JP: 3,000,000; just 50,000 unit...), with the different that in Japan is coming the new version, and in NA nope.
If the new version releasing in 2014, is 100% sure that 3DS was selling better than in Japan last year...
In 2015 nearly for sure 3DS will sell more in NA, and im gonna to say even EU.

New 3DS released a couple of weeks ago, it is obviously that North America numbers would be higher currently. Just wait 2 months and Japan > North America. And 3DS will have a longer life in Japan than North America imo (like the most handhelds).

Also, on November and December 3DS have sold more in NA than in Japan (withouth the new version).
And, why 3DS will have a longer life in Japan? Just beceuse that is what will happen for Vita don't mean that will be also for 3DS, look GBA and DS, this console was a longer life in America than in Japan.
